Zorg Biogas: Engineering for 70 Countries

Since 2006, Zorg Biogas has designed and built biogas plants and CHP plants around the world. It supplies gas equipment and power generators, installs and commissions them, and its equipment works in 70 countries.

Buyers of a biogas plant are engineers, farmers and investors, and they decide on evidence. The website had to show the plants, the technology and the numbers, and speak each buyer’s language.

Industrial, on purpose

The home page says what the company does in four lines of tall condensed type: design, equipment, service of biogas plants and gen sets. A dark photograph of a plant under construction sits behind them. With the Love Spell we kept the look close to the work itself: steel, concrete and one strong red.

A portfolio engineers can filter

For this audience, the reference list is the sales pitch. The portfolio shows every plant as a card with its year, country, technology, electrical power, tank volumes and substrates, and the list can be filtered by industry. An engineer looking for a plant that runs on manure and maize silage finds one in a few clicks.

Technology explained in its own words

Zorg has developed several biogas technologies, including its high load reactor (HLR), which the company describes as three times smaller and cheaper than a conventional CSTR. The technology page lists each one, from the HLR to dry fermentation of municipal waste and landfill gas, and leads to a contact form for a project enquiry.

The site runs in English, German, Spanish, French, Ukrainian, Russian, Portuguese and Polish. The Creation Spell keeps the portfolio, the catalogue and every language version on one structure.

On a phone the four lines of the headline stay intact, the language switch and the menu sit in the header, and the portfolio cards show their key figures without opening the project.

A buyer in any of those 70 countries can now see a plant like the one they need, read its numbers and ask for a quote in their own language.
