How we work

From the first call to launch and beyond: how a project with onlyspell runs, how long it takes and how payment works. The exact scope, timeline and terms of every project are written in its quote, which you sign before any work begins.

  1. Tell us about your business

    Leave your details or call us. We talk about your goals, your audience and what you need: a new website, a redesign, SEO, social media, AI or ongoing support.

  2. A written quote

    You receive a written quote with what is included, the timeline, the price and the payment terms. You review it and sign it online.

  3. Design

    We design from the inspiration you send and from your branding, for mobile and desktop. You first receive two design directions for one part of the website; after you choose, you have four rounds of revisions.

  4. Build

    We develop the approved design into a working website or system. Websites come with a content management system, so you can update texts, images and links yourself.

  5. Launch and care

    We put the website live and stay with you: a one-year warranty on our work, and ongoing maintenance if you want it.

Timeline

Every project gets its own timeline in the quote, based on its scope: a website, a redesign or a complex system. The schedule starts once we have all the materials and the approved design.

Payment

  • Projects: 50% when you approve the quote, before the work begins, and 50% at the end of the work, within 10 business days.
  • Monthly services such as maintenance and SEO: paid at the beginning of each month, before the work of that month. They can be canceled with 30 days’ notice.
  • You can pay by card through Stripe or by bank transfer, and you receive the invoice and the receipt by email.
  • onlyspell LLC is a US company, so no VAT applies, and you are billed in US dollars.

Who owns the work

The website, the design and the code we create for your project belong to you.

After launch

  • One-year warranty: if a problem caused by our development work appears within a year, we fix it at no charge. The warranty covers corrections to our own code, not new features, and ends if other developers change that code.
  • Maintenance (optional): we fix technical issues, add the content you send, add pages and keep improving the experience.

What we ask from you

  • Texts, images and other materials on time; the schedule starts once we have them.
  • Rights to the materials you send: photos and articles you provide remain your responsibility.
  • For SEO: patience. We do not promise specific rankings, because results depend on search engines, competition and other outside factors.
