Coral Travel Ukraine: Book a Holiday Online
Coral Travel is a tour operator, and its Ukrainian website sells package holidays to Egypt, Turkey and many other countries. Today its flights leave from cities in Moldova, Poland, Germany, Romania, the Czech Republic, Austria and Slovakia.
Holiday buyers compare a lot before they pay: hotel, board, dates, nights, departure city. The website has to carry all of that and still let someone book and pay online in a few steps, in Ukrainian, from wherever they are.
The search comes first
Most visitors arrive knowing roughly where they want to go. So the first thing on the page is the search: package tour or accommodation only, departure city, destination, dates, number of nights and travellers. With the Love Spell we kept every field on one line on a desktop, with a single search button at the end.
Below the search the page turns into a shop window. Recommended hotels show stars, location, board type, travel dates and the price per package, including the old price when there is a discount. Then come hot offers grouped by departure city.
Five steps to a booked trip
Buying a holiday online makes people nervous, so the page explains the process in five short steps: choose a tour, enter passport details and book, activate a personal account, pay, and receive the documents in that account. Ukrainian language support and card payment are spelled out right there.
The Creation Spell handles the part nobody sees: live prices from the tour operator, the cart, favourites and a personal account, so a family can save hotels and come back to them later.
On a phone the search becomes a short form, one field under another, with the destination field and the search button large enough for a thumb. Hotel cards scroll sideways.
