Every business reaches a point where the idea on the whiteboard has to become real: a site that loads in a second, holds up under thousands of users and keeps working long after launch. I’ve built my career around that point.
I’m Olha, Grandmaster & High Enchanter, a founder and the CEO of onlyspell. My work is development, turning a vision into systems that hold up at scale and under pressure.
At onlyspell we call it the Creation Spell. In practice it means choosing the architecture for where a business is going and writing code the next developer can trust. It also means treating the deadline as seriously as the design.
Complex projects
Over the years I’ve managed complex development projects for businesses around the world: websites, platforms, integrations and internal systems that had to work together, scale with demand and stay secure.
I managed and led the development of onlyspell’s projects for Bacardi, Toyota, Mango, Roshen and LeBijou, from the first architecture decisions to launch.

Big projects rarely fail on one hard technical problem. They fail in the handoffs, between design and code, between teams in different time zones, between what was promised and what was specified. Managing those handoffs is most of my job, and it’s the part I enjoy.
That’s why our development team works with design and marketing from the first day. Most of the decisions that make a system strong are made before anyone writes code.
Anyone can promise a beautiful website. I promise one that works, and keeps working.
One team across six countries
Our developers work from Ukraine, the United Kingdom, the United States, Israel, India and Canada. Leading a team spread across continents taught me that good engineering depends as much on clarity as on talent. Everyone needs to know how the system is built and who owns which part of it.
A project keeps moving while one city sleeps and another wakes up, and every client gets the same standard of work wherever their business is.
How I work
I ask the hard questions early. What happens when traffic triples? What breaks if one service goes down? Those answers cost far less on day one than on launch day.
I pick technology for the business. Sometimes that’s custom code built to last for years, and sometimes it’s a no-code platform that gets you to market in weeks.
And I stay after launch, because a system has to keep working as the business grows.
